Seminar on protection of intellectual property rights

The Programme conducted hrough cisco webex . programme started at 7 pm and winded up by 9 pm . The speaker was a well knowledgeable personality.He detailed about patenting in detail. Dr Law Well Man is assistant professor in Government Law college , Calicut . The objective of this seminar was to create Intellectual Property Right awareness among faculty members, Research scholars and students about the beneficial aspects of patenting their creative and novel ideas, innovations etc. Such awareness is highly essential for the promotion of creativity, research and technical advancements and their industrial applications. He mentioned about patents ,copy right , industrial design,trade mark, and trade design . Eligibility requirements of utility patent, design patent , and plant patents are also mentioned in the class .This session was well interactive . Doubt clearance session was useful for all participants. This session made spark for entrepreneurship in all participant’s mind . This was organised by KMCT Dental College in association with KMCT Law College. A total of 48 participants actively attended the session . Participation certificate is given to all.
